Job summary

Carrington West is representing a leading civil engineering and utilities contractor seeking a Site Agent to deliver water mains renewal projects across North London. You will manage daily site activities, coordinate resources and ensure safety, quality and programme targets are achieved.

The role requires previous Site Agent experience in water/utilities or civil engineering, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Agent in water/utilities/civil engineering.
• Strong understanding of water infrastructure and site delivery.
• Water Hygiene, NRSWA and First Aid qualifications are desirable.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Our client, a leading civil engineering and utilities contractor, is looking to appoint a Site Agent to support the successful delivery of water mains renewal projects across North London. About the Role

You’ll be responsible for managing the day‑time delivery of water infrastructure projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders, you’ll coordinate resources, oversee project progress and ensure health, safety and environmental standards are maintained throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of water mains renewal and civil engineering works.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant and materials.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
• Monitor programme progress and resolve site issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Site Agent within the water, utilities or civil engineering sector.
• Strong understanding of water infrastructure and site delivery.
• SMSTS, CSCS and a full UK driving licence.
• Water Hygiene, NRSWA and First Aid qualifications are desirable.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
