Job summary

Search Consultancy Ltd is recruiting for a Site Agent to join a well-established civil engineering contractor in Scotland. You will take responsibility for delivering projects safely, efficiently and to programme, working closely with the Project Manager and site team.

The successful candidate will have previous Site Agent or Senior Site Supervisor experience, strong knowledge of civil engineering methods, and proven ability to lead site teams, manage subcontractors and drive project delivery

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Site Agent or Senior Site Supervisor within civil engineering.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction methods and site management practices.
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and project delivery.
• Good understanding of health & safety, quality and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operations of projects, ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure programme requirements are achieved.
• Monitoring project progress, costs, quality and productivity.
• Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
• Maintaining accurate site records, documentation and project reporting.
• Working closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Team and client representatives to resolve issues and drive project delivery.

We are working with a well-established and successful civil engineering contractor to assist them in hiring a Site Agent for their growing team in Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Agent to take responsibility for the successful delivery of civil engineering projects, working closely with the Project Manager and site team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

As the Site Agent your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of projects, ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.

• Good understanding of health & safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills with a proactive approach.
