Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd is seeking a capable Site Agent to join a major water infrastructure framework in the Farnborough area. On-site role to manage delivery, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with programme, quality, and safety standards.

You will report to the Project Manager, handle RAMS and method statements, issue permits, and drive the programme while maintaining site discipline and NEC contract communications. Requires NEC experience and relevant safety qualifications.

Qualifications

• Proven Site Agent or Sub Agent experience on civil engineering or water infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of NEC contract processes at site level.
• SMSTS, CSCS Black or Gold Card, First Aid at Work, and EUSR Water Hygiene are all needed before you start.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across allocated schemes, coordinating gangs and subcontractors, reviewing RAMS and method statements, issuing permits, driving programme, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Be the constant on-site presence when the PM is across multiple projects and set the tone for the team.
• Manage NEC contract communications at site level, including early warnings and compensation events, and keep records to support the commercial team.

Site Agent – Water Infrastructure
Farnborough, Hampshire | Contract | Up to £400 per day | Outside IR35 (Subject to Determination) | 12 Months+

A leading Tier 1 contractor is looking for a capable, experienced Site Agent to join their delivery team on a major water infrastructure framework in the Farnborough area. This is a working role on a live programme - you will be on site, managing delivery, coordinating subcontractors, and making sure things happen the way they are supposed to. If you are the kind of Site Agent who leads from the front and takes ownership, this is worth reading.

The role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will manage day-to-day site operations across your allocated schemes, coordinating gangs and subcontractors, reviewing and approving RAMS and method statements, issuing permits, driving programme, and maintaining the quality and safety standards the client expects. You will be the constant presence on site when the PM is across multiple projects, and the team will look to you to set the tone.

You will manage NEC contract communications at site level, including early warnings and compensation events, and keep records and diaries to a standard that supports the commercial team.

What you need

Proven Site Agent or Sub Agent experience on civil engineering or water infrastructure projects. Solid understanding of NEC contract processes at site level. Strong subcontractor management skills. Water sector experience is a real advantage. SMSTS, CSCS Black or Gold Card, First Aid at Work, and EUSR Water Hygiene are all needed before you start.

What is on offer

Up to £400 per day, outside IR35 subject to determination. Initial 12-month contract with good extension prospects.
