Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Site Agent to manage site delivery in the Bournemouth, Poole and South Dorset area, coordinating with design and commercial teams to ensure projects meet safety, time, budget, and quality targets.

You will oversee procurement, subcontractor logistics, and H&S reporting, while acting as Temporary Works Coordinator to ensure compliance with design specifications. Travel to sites across the region is expected.

Qualifications

• CSCS, SSSTS/ SMSTS, and a civil engineering qualification or equivalent experience are required.
• Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills are essential for delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong communication with team members and stakeholders is necessary.
• Understanding civil engineering principles and practices is important for site execution.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the regional footprint are expected.

Responsibilities

• Working collaboratively with the design and commercial teams to enhance delivery efficiency and promote opportunities while managing risk
• Managing the site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the quality required by the client
• Involvement with site level procurement, subcontractor logistics and H&S reporting
• Informing the client about project progress and addressing any concerns
• Acting as a Temporary Works Coordinator, overseeing the installation of temporary works to ensure compliance with design specifications.
