Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley in Scotland is seeking a Site Agent to oversee on-site delivery of water infrastructure projects. You will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate with design and commercial teams, ensure safety, quality, and programme compliance, and report progress to the client.

The role requires CSCS/SMSTS, a civil engineering qualification, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • CSCS/SSSTS/SMSTS qualification required.
  • HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Understand civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your region.

Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively with the design and commercial teams to enhance delivery efficiency and promote opportunities while managing risk.
  • Managing the site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the quality required by the client.
  • Involvement with site level procurement, subcontractor logistics and H&S reporting.
  • Informing the client about project progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Acting as a Temporary Works Coordinator, overseeing the installation of temporary works to ensure compliance with design specifications.

The Role Of a Site Agent Includes

What You’ll Need
