This long-term freelance Site Agent assignment in Somerset involves managing daily operations on a significant highways and civil engineering scheme for an established main contractor.

Responsibilities include coordinating construction activities and supervising subcontractors to ensure delivery meets programme, safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will bring proven experience in civil engineering or highways, strong leadership and site management skills, and a solid understanding of health and safety requirements.

Offered on a contract basis through PAYE, the role pays between £300 and £350 daily, depending on experience, with interviews scheduled shortly and a start expected within two weeks.

About You We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience as a Site Agent on highways or major civil engineering projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of earthworks, drainage and infrastructure works.
• Experience working with main contractors and managing subcontractors.
• Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
• SMSTS and a relevant CSCS card.
• Availability to interview next week and commence work at short notice.
