RGB is seeking a Site Agent to oversee civil engineering schemes across Devon from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on programme, within budget and to required safety and quality standards. The role reports to the Contracts Manager and includes supervising site teams and subcontractors, coordinating plant and materials, and maintaining records.

The permanent role offers a salary of £52,000 to £57,000 with a car allowance and additional benefits.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Site Agent or Sub Agent stepping up.
• Experience delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in water, highways, utilities or heavy civils advantageous.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts.

A leading civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Agent to join its growing infrastructure team, delivering a long-term programme of civil engineering projects across North Devon.

The Role

As Site Agent, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects from start to finish, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Lead and motivate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Monitor programme performance and resource requirements.
• Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and the wider project team.

About You

• Previous experience as a Site Agent or an experienced Sub Agent ready to step up.
• A strong background delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Experience within water, highways, utilities or heavy civils would be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of NEC contracts.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
