Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd in Bath is seeking an experienced Site Agent for highways and structures projects on a 12-month contract. The role offers £600 a day Inside IR35 / Umbrella.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, drive construction activity, and manage programme delivery to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing subcontractors, budgets and programme delivery.
• A focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• HNC/HND or Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• SMSTS qualification.
• CSCS card.
• PTS certification (desirable).
• Temporary Works Coordinator certification (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Site Agent within the Highways sector, seeking a long-term opportunity?

Ganymede are currently supporting our Tier 1 Contractor, in their search for a Site Agent for Highways and Structures projects.

You will be a proactive and driven civil engineering professional with a strong background in civil engineering and earthworks delivery, ideally within the Highways sector. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams.

You will play a key role in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing construction activities, driving programme performance, and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements.

Experience working under NEC contracts and managing complex construction activities within live environments would be highly beneficial.
