Job summary

VodafoneThree in Newbury is seeking a Site Acquisition, Planning & Community Affairs Senior Manager to lead a team at the forefront of our network deployment programme. You will define acquisition and planning strategies, build strong relationships with local authorities and stakeholders, and partner with Legal, Public Affairs, Towers & Estates to deliver efficient, compliant site rollout.

The role offers hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office, and a focus on delivering industry-leading

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience within planning, property, infrastructure, utilities, telecommunications, construction, engineering, transport, real estate or other regulated sectors.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working within governance, programme delivery, acquisition, planning or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of property legislation, planning frameworks or regulatory environments (desirable).
• Experience working with local authorities, government stakeholders or industry bodies (beneficial).
• Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, site acquisition, planning, network deployment or the ECC would be advantageous but is not essential.

• Supporting regional teams with complex issues, risks and escalations.

Full time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

What You'll Do

Who You Are

We recognise that there are many different routes to developing the skills needed for this role. We're interested in the leadership capability, stakeholder management expertise and delivery experience you can bring, not simply the sector you've worked in previously.

We're particularly interested in candidates with:

• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience within planning, property, infrastructure, utilities, telecommunications, construction, engineering, transport, real estate or other regulated sectors.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working within governance, programme delivery, acquisition, planning or related disciplines.
• The ability to navigate complex environments and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Commercial awareness and experience supporting contracts, agreements or partnerships.
• Knowledge of property legislation, planning frameworks or regulatory environments (desirable).
• Experience working with local authorities, government stakeholders or industry bodies (beneficial).
• Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, site acquisition, planning, network deployment or the Electronic Communications Code (ECC) would be advantageous but is not essential.
