Location: The Speechmark, London + Hybrid

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

What You'll Do

At VodafoneThree, you'll be part of a once-in-a-generation transformation as we build the UK's largest mobile network provider. You'll help shape how we engage with government and policy stakeholders, providing insights that influence decisions, strengthen our reputation, and support our ambition to deliver exceptional connectivity and customer experiences across the nation.

• Support the delivery of VodafoneThree's Government Affairs and Regulatory strategy, helping to build and maintain strong relationships with government, political, and policy stakeholders
• Coordinate timely and high-quality responses to correspondence from MPs and other political representatives, ensuring communications reflect our values and positions
• Partner with colleagues across regulatory, legal, networks, customer operations, corporate affairs, and sustainability teams to gather and share accurate insights and information
• Research emerging policy and regulatory developments, translating complex topics into clear, actionable recommendationsPrepare engaging briefings, reports, correspondence, and materials that support political engagement and advocacy activities
• Represent VodafoneThree at external meetings, forums, and industry events, building relationships and sharing key business perspectives
• Keep internal stakeholders informed by delivering concise updates on political, regulatory, and policy developments that may impact the business

Who You Are

• Experience in government affairs, public affairs, public policy, or a related field within government, industry, consultancy, the third sector, or a policy-focused organisation
• Demonstrable understanding of the UK political landscape, legislative processes, and policy issues affecting the telecommunications sector
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and turn it into practical recommendations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence drafting briefings, reports, and stakeholder correspondence
• A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• A proactive, adaptable, and curious mindset, with a genuine eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for creating positive impact through policy engagement and stakeholder collaboration
