Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site, Swindon, UK)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work to maintain the nation's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting experienced technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending planned and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolutions

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
