Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical infrastructure tasks.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend to maintenance tasks, both planned and remedial
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am
