Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site in London, UK)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work to support the nation's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolution

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre
