Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of their impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent night shifts, Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, from Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is beneficial.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
