Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site, Nottingham)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves permanent night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Performing planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults.
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolution.

Ideal Candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals eager to learn, capable of multitasking, and experienced or familiar with Network Rail health and safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre.
