Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 based in Brighton, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex work that supports the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). This role is a permanent night shift, Sunday to Thursday, from 10 pm to 6 am at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station Systems Technician - Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report/fix station communication faults.
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasks and fault updates.

Who You Are:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multitask and are eager to learn. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is beneficial.

Key Requirements:

• Background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical systems.
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre.
