Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site in London, United Kingdom)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and work closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will report to the Duty Manager and will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
• Use field IT equipment to provide real-time maintenance data.
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completion.

Candidate Profile:

This is an entry-level role suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am.
