SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and drive solutions, working with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex infrastructure work.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). This role is permanent night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend to planned and remedial maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report/fix station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolution

Ideal Candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and general IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am
