SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 - Wolverhampton, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join Telent's Engineering Team and be empowered to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to making a difference. Contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure as part of a high-performing team handling complex and essential tasks.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).
2. Attend to planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
3. Ensure SISS assets are properly maintained and station communication faults are reported and resolved.
4. Use field IT equipment to provide real-time maintenance data.
5. Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completion.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

1. Background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical work.
2. Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
3. Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
4. Full UK Driving Licence.
5. Ability to work nights Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, at Pirin Court Service Centre.
