Job Description

Join our Engineering Team at Telent as a Station Systems Technician - Level 4. You'll be empowered to innovate and work closely with technical experts to make a significant impact on the nation's critical infrastructure. This role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance and assisting with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The position is permanent nights, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolution

Who You Are

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who can multi-task and are eager to learn. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
