SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4

Location: London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team doing complex and critical work to help build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report/fix station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates

Who You Are:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who can multitask and enjoy learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
