SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team engaged in complex and critical tasks that support the nation's vital infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station Systems Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and ensure station communication faults are reported and resolved
• Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completion

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. The Level 4 Technician should have experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am
