Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team doing complex and critical work to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent nights, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, from Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report/fix station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completion

Who you are:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. The Level 4 Technician should have experience or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Work from Pirin Court Service Centre, nights Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am
