Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to design high-speed signal paths for datacentre-scale AI compute systems. You will shape electrical performance of Graphcore hardware, including 112Gbps and 224Gbps SERDES, DDR and processor interfaces, across production boards and test fixtures.

You will define launches, via structures, transmission lines, stack-ups and low-loss materials, and you will take ideas from concept through prototype bring-up, debug and validation for manufacture.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-speed digital circuit development.
• Experience with high-frequency SERDES design and validation (tens of GHz).
• Expertise using SI tools (ANSYS SIWave, HFSS, Mentor HyperLynx).
• Ability to design BGA/connector launches, via structures and transmission lines for GHz signals.
• Hands-on lab experience with VNAs, high-speed oscilloscopes and signal generators.
• Rigorous design, debug and validation with strong ownership and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design high-speed signal paths and PCB structures for Graphcore hardware.
• Develop, extract and simulate PCB structures across production systems and test boards.
• Define launches, via structures, transmission lines, stack-ups and low-loss materials.
• Support concept to prototype bring-up, debug, validation and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with PCB, package substrate, system architecture and supplier teams.
