Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer to design circuit solutions for its processor systems and validation platforms. You will translate requirements into schematics, layout constraints, and testable hardware, shaping production boards and reference platforms used across development, validation and customer enablement.

You will lead validation plans, run lab campaigns, debug prototypes, and interpret results with firmware and architecture teams, owning designs from first schematic

Qualifications

• Strong digital circuit design and validation skills across regulators, power delivery, resets and clocks.
• Experience with processor-based systems and interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, DDR, USB, QSPI and JTAG.
• Lab bring-up, debug, margin testing, and validation with test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and signal generators.
• Ability to script tests using Linux, Python, Bash and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Design circuit solutions for Graphcore processor systems and validation platforms.
• Define validation plans, run lab campaigns, and interpret results with firmware and architecture teams.
• Own designs from definition through schematic capture, layout support, bring-up and production transfer.
