Job summary

Ericsson in London is seeking a Signing Production Assistant to support sign-interpreted programme production, including research, media tracking, and administration, reporting to the Production Manager for the Signing team in London.

You will liaise with clients and media teams, manage schedules, ingest media, assist with subtitling and live signing, and coordinate with freelancers and external suppliers to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience with accurate records and scheduling systems.
• Interest in Ericsson/Red Bee Media and Access Services.
• Knowledge of a wide range of television output.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Ability to use initiative and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Excel.
• Awareness or interest in Deaf colleagues and contributors.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients and media management to obtain media, scripts and other materials for subtitling, audio description and signing.
• Prepare scripts to improve subtitling efficiency.
• Manage the ingest and delivery of media.
• Input client schedules into the in-house scheduling system and respond to schedule changes.
• Daily checks of schedules.
• Admin tasks associated with allocation changes as directed by the Duty Manager.
• Liaise with technical teams to assist the Duty Manager.
• Manage Dentons and language control for live subtitling.
• Maintain contact lists and databases relating to contributors, programme content and production schedules.
• Provide operational assistance for production and transmission of sign-interpreted programmes.
• Act as focal point for the Sign Language Translation team and maintain records.
• Deliver files and materials to clients, reliably and to a deadline.
• Create and maintain rotas for Access Services production and support teams.
• Process administrative requests for Access Services teams.
• Work with operations schedulers in the allocation of services to third-party suppliers.
• Manage the workflow for freelancers and other external suppliers.
