Job summary

Nottingham Forest Football Club is looking for a Casual SIA Security Staff member for The City Ground. You will protect spectators, staff, and property, uphold security protocols, and respond to incidents during matches and events.

The role requires an SIA license, DBS check, and experience in stadium or large events. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential; training and DBS processing may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA license or equivalent
• Prepared to apply for standard DBS check
• Previous experience in security, preferably in a stadium or large event setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Physical fitness and ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders
• Commitment to compulsory training provided by Nottingham Forest

Responsibilities

• Monitor crowd behaviour and stadium areas for signs of security threats or disturbances and follow protocols to maintain order.
• Respond promptly to incidents such as crowd disorder, medical emergencies, or unauthorised access and de-escalate where possible.
• Coordinate with security personnel, stewards, and Police to resolve incidents and maintain crowd control.
• Eject individuals who threaten public safety or breach stadium rules, with professionalism.
• Facilitate safe arrival and escort players and officials to designated areas on match days.
• Wear body-worn cameras and ensure proper operation in line with privacy regulations.
• Resolve conflicts among spectators in a calm, professional manner.
• Assist with investigations by providing reports, witness statements, and evidence.
• Provide pitch protection to prevent unauthorised access and protect the playing surface.
• Collaborate with Police, stewards, medical staff, and management for coordinated responses.
• Communicate clearly via radios and participate in regular training and briefings.
• Conduct bag checks and body searches at entry points in line with ground regulations.
• Deliver customer service and directions to spectators, ensuring a positive stadium experience.
• Adhere to legislation, Ground Regulations, and club policies.
