Job summary

Nottingham Forest is seeking a casual stadium steward at The City Ground to welcome supporters and control entry points during matches and events. You will operate turnstiles, scan tickets and passes, guide fans, and maintain orderly queues while ensuring safety procedures are followed and customer service remains friendly and efficient in all weather conditions.

Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends, and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

Friendly, calm and confident when dealing with large crowds.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to remain alert and focused in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

Operating turnstiles or scanning electronic tickets at stadium entrances.
Checking tickets, season cards, and accreditation passes for validity.
Assisting supporters with entry issues (e.g., invalid tickets, scanning errors).
Providing directions and basic information to fans entering the stadium.
Maintaining orderly queues and managing crowd flow at entry points.
Ensuring entry procedures comply with stadium safety and security policies.
Reporting suspicious behaviour, incidents, or safety concerns to supervisors.
Supporting emergency procedures if required (e.g., evacuation instructions).
Delivering a polite, professional, and customer-focused service at all times.
