Job summary

Nottingham Forest is seeking enthusiastic casual stewards to join the Safety and Security team at The City Ground, Nottingham. The role involves providing high levels of care and safety for spectators, with responsibilities including assisting attendees, maintaining clear access routes, and reporting incidents.

Flexibility to work varied hours and locations within the stadium is required. Applicants should be 18+ and willing to complete Level 2 Spectator Safety training.

Qualifications

  • Fit, active and not less than age 18 years
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Remain calm and efficient under pressure
  • Polite and courteous manner
  • Adapt to changing situations
  • Flexible to work in different locations and roles within the Stadium
  • Good personal hygiene and communication skills
  • Willingness to undertake Lifesaving basics training

Responsibilities

  • Attend Stadium at given dates and times as directed by Stewarding Services Lead
  • Assist spectators in locating seats and performing ticket checks
  • Keep gangways, vomitories, exits and evacuation routes clear and accessible
  • Remain at allocated posts unless instructed otherwise by supervisor
  • Monitor crowd for signs of distress or overcrowding and report to Safety Team
  • Identify incidents or hazards and report findings to a Supervisor
