Job summary

Guarding UK Ltd invites applications for a full‑time Security Officer to patrol a busy shopping centre and engage with staff, customers and contractors. You will help maintain safety, manage incidents calmly, and keep accurate records using standard IT tools.

Applicants must hold SIA and CCTV licences, have the right to work in the UK, and demonstrate good English, reporting skills, and reliability. Drive and attention to detail are highly valued.

Qualifications

• SIA and CCTV licences required.
• Right to work in the UK required.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Basic report writing and IT skills.
• Experience dealing with difficult people and finding solutions.
• Driven and self-motivated.
• Keen eye for detail and awareness of security risks.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the shopping centre and interact with the public, businesses, contractors and visitors.
• Maintain health and safety for all site users and respond calmly to incidents.
• Complete daily documentation and reporting using Microsoft Office.
