Job summary

Guarding UK Ltd invites applications for a full‑time Security Officer to patrol a busy shopping centre and engage with staff, customers and contractors. You will help maintain safety, manage incidents calmly, and keep accurate records using standard IT tools.

Applicants must hold SIA and CCTV licences, have the right to work in the UK, and demonstrate good English, reporting skills, and reliability. Drive and attention to detail are highly valued.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrol the shopping centre and interact with the public, businesses, contractors and visitors.

• Complete daily documentation and reporting using Microsoft Office.

The role

Our small friendly shopping centre security team has a full-time vacancy. You will be required to patrol the shopping centre and interact with members of the public, businesses within the centre and all contractors and visitors to the site. You will be responsible for the health and safety for all at the site and will be trained in emergency preparedness. You should have a positive attitude and be able to remain calm and diligent during any incidents that may occur on site. To apply for this role, you must have an in-date SIA and CCTV licences. You will also need to have experience of using Microsoft packages to complete necessary daily documentation and reporting as part of your role.

Must have:

• SIA and CCTV licences
