Job summary

ABM UK is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Regent Arcade Shopping Centre. You will be the public face of the security team and ensure exemplary standards of security and customer service for visitors and tenants.

The role requires a valid SIA license, ability to work 42 hours per week on a 3on 3off 12-hour shift pattern, and a proactive can-do attitude. Competitive pay rate applies, with additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence(s)
• Knowledge of Assignment Instructions (AI's)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer-focused and to interact with visitors
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Computer literacy required

Responsibilities

• Interact with visitors and tenants delivering first-class service
• Carry out regular patrols as instructed
• Be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous, and helpful
• Ensure grooming and uniform compliance
• Ensure site is a safe and non-threatening environment
• Liaise with control room and react to incidents
• Assist third party contractors/visitors ensuring procedures are followed
• Liaise with authorities and deal with incidents
• Follow radio procedures at all times
• Undertake other duties as required
