Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Security Officer to protect property, people and assets on client sites in line with published Assignment Instructions. The role requires an SIA licence and compliance with UK law, with ongoing training and license renewals.

You will contribute to KPI/ SLA delivery and maintain accurate incident records while working within a supportive security team. On-site security duties include enforcing procedures, reporting hazards, and collaborating with the

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• SIA licence is required; front-line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision is expected.

Responsibilities

• Protect customer property, people and assets by delivering security services as per Assignment Instructions (AI's).
• Meet or exceed KPIs/SLAs for the customer.
• Complete required competency training and renew licences 16 weeks before expiry.
• Comply with UK law and regulatory requirements on site.
• Complete on-site tasks per AI's and maintain incident logs.
• Refer to published AI's and suggest improvements where applicable.
