Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to protect client properties and assets, ensuring compliance with AI instructions and UK law. You will drive performance against KPIs and contribute to contract retention through reliable, professional service.

You will hold an SIA licence and front-line certification, with training to continuously develop your knowledge. The role requires on-site presence in Northern Ireland and dedication to safety and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• SIA licence required.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of and ensure compliance with policies and legal/regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and UK law.
• Fully complete all site tasks defined in the Assignment Instructions (AIs).
• Review published Assignment Instructions and suggest amendments to improve service.
• Maintain front-line licences (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA Licence as required.
• Comply with health and safety obligations and operate within statutory guidelines.
• Follow instructions and procedures without challenging authority unnecessarily.
• Work in a systematic, methodical and orderly way.
