Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide a secure environment for staff and visitors on site. You will enforce access control, conduct site inductions and patrols, and respond to emergencies as directed by Assignment Instructions.

Working an average of 42 hours per week, you will follow a 4 on, 4 off pattern starting at 1900. The role requires excellent customer focus and strong IT skills, with devotion to professional standards and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Front-Line License is essential.
• SIA CCTV License is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with strong customer focus.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular site patrols and recording these as per Corps and Customer requirements.
• Ensure all visitors and contractors to site are correctly briefed, sign in and out of the site.
• Record the entry and exit of delivery whilst on site, including processing of paperwork in line with site quality procedures.
• Ensure patrols are carried out to the required standards.
• Set and unset primary and secondary alarm systems for out-of-hours security.
• Complete documents including daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident records and site reports.
• Maintain training records via Corps Colleague Portal, ensuring first aid and fire marshal training stay up to date.
• Continuously apply your SIA skills with professionalism; display your licence at all times.
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
