Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is recruiting for a Matchday Security Officer to help protect Burnley FC's Turf Moor and other venues. You’ll receive full training, a competitive hourly rate, and flexibility to book shifts around your commitments.

Key duties include guiding the public, bag checks, monitoring crowds, and ensuring licensing and safety compliance during match and event days. Prior security experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Must hold SIA Door Supervision licence.
• 5 years of checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and smart in appearance.
• Friendly, approachable and professional.
• Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job.
• Ideally some experience in events or customer care.
• Level 2 Spectator Safety or willingness to obtain (funded).
• Willing to work at other Carlisle Events venues (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide general guidance to the public at matches and events.
• Conducting person and bag searches.
• Support the stadium to adhere to licensing conditions and safety certificates.
• Direct spectators and monitor crowds.
• Respond to security or crowd management issues during events.
