Responsibilities

• Moving and positioning trailers around the site using a shunting vehicle.
• Reversing trailers safely onto loading bays and into designated parking areas.
• Coordinating with warehouse, production and despatch teams to ensure trailers are available when needed.
• Carrying out routine vehicle and trailer safety checks and reporting any defects.
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised yard, following site traffic management procedures.
• Ensuring all movements are completed in line with health and safety requirements and site rules.
• Supporting the wider logistics operation when required to keep goods moving efficiently.
• Following food manufacturing site procedures, including hygiene and contamination-prevention requirements.
