Job summary

West Coast Motors (Glasgow) is seeking a reliable Bus Shunter to join our depot team in Glasgow. You will move buses around the depot, position them for cleaning, refuelling and maintenance, and maintain high standards of cleanliness across the fleet.

We offer a permanent role with competitive pay, overtime on sixth days, 30 days holiday, pension, uniform and PPE, and ongoing training opportunities. A strong safety focus and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required, with shunting experience or PCV D entitlement.
• Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely manoeuvre buses around the depot and parking areas.
• Position vehicles for cleaning, refuelling and maintenance.
• Carry out depot housekeeping and yard duties as required.
• Report vehicle defects, damage or safety concerns.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Help ensure vehicles are ready for the next day's service.
