Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking a reliable Shunter to join our Scunthorpe team, supporting vessel discharge and logistics on a busy site. The role offers rotating shifts and a strong emphasis on safety.

You will operate heavy plant and HGV Class 1 units, with a valid HGV 1 licence; Tugmaster training is desirable. Pay is £15.01 per hour plus a £19.12 shift allowance, with ongoing full-time employment.

• A valid HGV Class 1 licence.
• Tugmaster licence desirable; training will be provided for the suitable candidate.

Responsibilities

• Support vessel discharge operations
• Ensure materials are prepared and ready for dispatch
• Safely deliver goods across a large industrial site
• Operate HGV Class 1 units and other heavy equipment, preferably with an HGV Class 1 or Tug license

Requirements

• Experience operating heavy plant/machinery in an industrial or logistics setting

• Strong work ethic, attention to safety, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
