Job summary

Sue Ryder Care is seeking a Shop Supervisor for our Prestwick shop. The role is part-time (7.5 hours weekly, 8.45am start) on-site, with a 6-month FTC. Salary starts from £12.79 per hour. You will lead a small team, drive donations and sales, and help manage stock and campaigns to raise funds for palliative care.

The position offers a supportive environment with a focus on community engagement and delivering excellent customer service to donors and shoppers.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, income and performance against targets.
• Support and motivate the team to provide excellent service to customers and donors.
• Build community relationships to generate quality donated stock.
• Help recruit, train and retain a committed volunteer team.
• Maintain high merchandising, housekeeping and health & safety standards.
• Manage stock and EPOS processes to keep the shop fresh and well presented.
• Champion the Sue Ryder brand in-store campaigns and fundraising initiatives.
