Job summary

Woking & Sam Beare Hospice is seeking a Shop Manager to run our new charity shop in Addlestone, coordinating daily operations, stock, pricing and merchandising while leading staff and volunteers.

You will deliver excellent customer and donor service, promote Gift Aid and maintain accurate cash handling and records, ensuring the shop stays safe, welcoming and compliant. Weekend and bank holiday work is required.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone with retail management or supervisory experience, strong organisational skills and the ability to motivate a team.
• You will be confident working with customers, donors, colleagues and volunteers.
• Good communication, basic IT and numeracy skills are important.

Our shops generate vital income to support specialist palliative and end of life care for patients, carers and families across North West Surrey.In this rewarding role, you will manage daily shop operations, support colleagues and volunteers, oversee stock, pricing and merchandising, promote Gift Aid and ensure customers and donors receive a warm, professional welcome.

About you
