Job summary

The Stevenson Group is hiring a branch supervisor/manager to work with the manager to uphold shopfloor standards and visual merchandising across windows and exterior displays.

You will ensure tills are balanced, conduct stock checks, and coverage during absences. The role requires developing the shopfloor team, managing wellbeing, and maintaining health and safety compliance at the Norwich location.

Qualifications

• 3 years management/supervisor experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Netsuite.

Responsibilities

• Work with Manager to achieve shopfloor standards.
• Merchandise the shopfloor including windows and exterior shopfront.
• Ensure tills are cashed up properly and discrepancies investigated.
• Ensure branch H+S standards are adhered to.
• Stock checks completed to a high level of accuracy.
• Cover branch supervisor/manager duties in their absence.
• Key holding and out of hours alarm contact.
• Attend selling/display events as needed.
• Train and develop the shopfloor team.
• Highlight underperformance to BM/ABM and support action plans.
• Support the team wellbeing needs.

Job description

• To work with Manager to achieve shopfloor standards including windows and exterior shopfront.
• Effectively merchandise the shopfloor- Considering both Visual and Allocation needs.
• To ensure tills are Cashed up properly and any discrepancies investigated and resolved.
• Ensuring branch H+S standards are adhered to.
• Ensuring stock checks are completed to a high level of accuracy.
• To cover branch supervisors/ managers duties in their absence as needed.
• Key Holding and Out of hours Alarm contact.
• Attend Selling/Display events as needed.

Staff management

• To train and develop the shopfloor team
• To highlight underperformance to BM/ABM and support employee with action plan
• To support the teams wellbeing needs and requirements
• Produce and communicate daily floor rota, including lunches, daily tasks via team briefing.

• Role model of excellent customer service.
• Being an escalation point for customer complaint.
• To oversee appointments at peak, ensuring maximum number of appointment and walk in customers are served when needed.
• Overseeing of custom order placements on the shopfloor.
