Job summary

The Stevenson Group is seeking a customer-focused branch team member in Norwich to assist customers, operate the till, maintain shop floor standards, and support events. You will upsell items and ensure policy-aligned handling of complaints while upholding brand standards.

This role emphasizes excellent customer service, merchandising, and collaboration with management on training and stock procedures. Local on-site work in Norwich is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with customer service operations and till handling.
• Familiarity with stock management and branch merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of uniform requirements to advise customers.
• Greet customers in the stevensons style.
• Upsell additional items to customers.
• Handle customer complaints per company policy.
• Attend selling events.
• Support with staff training and development led by management.
• Accurately operate the till.
• Keep shop floor, stockroom and surrounding areas clean and merchandised.
• Complete rolling stock checks.
• Process web orders/returns pickups.
• Complete deliveries and transfers.
• Carry out reasonable tasks requested by management.

• To maintain a good knowledge of school’s uniform requirements so customers are advised correctly

• To upsell additional items to customers.
• To Handle customer complaint in line with company policy

Branch Operations

• To attend selling events
• To support with Temporary staff training and development- led by management
• To accurately operate the Till
• To maintain a clean, tidy and well merchandised shopfloor, stockroom and surrounding branch areas.
• To complete rolling stock checks.
• To accurately pick and put back items for web orders/returns.
• To complete deliveries and transfers.
• To carry out any reasonable tasks requested by management

Additional Responsibilities

• Adhoc projects and additional responsibilities if applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office - preferred
• Knowledge of Netsuite- preferred
