Job Title: Shipping Coordinator

Role Type: Permanent

Salary: 32k to 36k

Location: Acton

Hours: Monday - Friday (Office Based)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all practical arrangements for export and import shipments are made; liaising with clients, transport, packing, and storage departments.
2. Complete Export & import documentation for Airfreight, sea freight & exhibition shipments.
3. Ensure all quotations and invoices are completed in a timely manner.
4. Keep clients informed of all stages of their shipments and provide all relevant documentation.
5. Oversee other aspects of shipping processes, including local, storage, and import work, when necessary and requested by clients.
6. Attend operations meetings.
7. Maintain and update internal shared documents covering all imports.
8. Comply with Staff Operations Handbook and Quality Management System requirements.
9. Arrange collections and deliveries with clients in consultation with the transport manager, ensuring smooth logistics.
10. Arrange packing as required, providing full packing sheets and relevant information to the packing department.
11. Possess previous experience within Airfreight, Import/Export, Shipping.
12. Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and customer service skills.
13. Have an understanding of support for Art Fairs.
14. Understand Logistics, Fine Art, Customs, or Transport sectors.
15. Experience in coordinating luxury goods or services.
