Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a Shipping Coordinator in the Cullompton area to manage daily shipping activities, ensuring prompt dispatch and delivery of customer orders. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, on a temporary to permanent basis with a salary in the £28,000–£29,000 DOE range.

• Experience in shipping or logistics, with export knowledge.
• Proficient IT skills including Excel, Outlook and ERP systems.

Are you highly organised, detail-focused and adept at managing daily operations efficiently? We are seeking a proactive Shipping Coordinator to manage all shipping activities, ensuring the prompt despatch and delivery of customer orders.

• Coordinate shipments, collections and deliveries to consistently uphold service standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation and records, ensuring they are current and compliant.
• Monitor deliveries and swiftly resolve any transport-related issues.
• Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, warehouse and production teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Support inventory control processes and ensure adherence to all relevant shipping regulations.

Person Specification

• Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and ERP systems.
• Previous experience in shipping or logistics is preferred.
• Export experience is essential.
• Ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced environment.
