Marella Cruises is seeking a Security Guard for shipboard duties on Marella Explorer 2 and Marella Voyager. The role covers security operations at sea and in port, with embarkation dates in late 2026 and contracts of several months.

You will report to the Staff Captain and Security Officer and participate in safety drills and shipwide security plans. Candidates must hold STCW95 and other required certifications, have extensive cruise ship experience, and be physically fit.

Qualifications

• Valid STCW95 certification.
• Appropriate certification as required by regulations.
• Extensive experience on board passenger ships in a similar role.
• Physically and medically fit.
• Moral integrity is required.
• Coast Guard and Port State Control experience.

Responsabilités

• Ensure vessel security and passenger/crew safety per security plan.
• Be familiar with lifesaving, fire-fighting and pollution equipment locations.
• Coordinate security measures with local port authorities.
• Conduct night patrols and submit security reports to Senior Officers.
• Update departure board and manage gangway procedures when berthed or anchored.
