Job summary

Marella Cruises seeks an experienced Able Seaman to join the Marella Discovery 2 during wet dock on a temporary contract. Joining date is 03rd of November in Palma de Mallorca with disembarkation on 13th of November in Malaga.

Must hold STCW95 and relevant certifications; fluent English and prior shipboard experience are essential. Candidates should be physically fit, capable of operating tender and rescue boats, and prepared to work in a high-demand seafaring environment with adherence to

Qualifications

• Valid STCW95 certification and required regulatory certifications.
• Experience in exterior maintenance and repair on ships.
• Proficiency operating tender and rescue boats.
• Extensive experience on passenger ships in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exterior of vessel in line with Company Policies and regulations; assist in arrivals/departures and loading/unloading.
• Assist Deck department per Master's/Staff Captain's/Bosun's instructions.
• Participate in crew safety drills and enforce safety procedures.
• Operate lifeboats, rescue boats and safety equipment as required.
