Job summary

Marella Cruises invites applications for the position of 2nd Engineer on board Marella Discovery. Qualifications

• Valid STCW95 certification.
• Valid CoC A-III/1.
• Experience with Wartsila engines preferred.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe engine room watch at sea, in port and at anchor.
• Operate main and auxiliary engines safely and efficiently.
• Lead safe machinery operations and monitor engine controls.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs per company policies and regulations.
• Coordinate with technical departments and ensure vessel safety.
