Marella Cruises is seeking an experienced Able Seaman to join Marella Discovery 2 on a shipboard contract during Wet dock. The role is temporary, with joining on 3 November in Palma de Mallorca and disembarkation on 13 November in Malaga.

Candidates must have STCW95 certification, current maritime certifications, be physically fit, and have extensive experience at sea in similar roles. English is the working language; other languages are a plus.

Qualificações

• Valid STCW95 certification.
• Appropriate certification as required by regulations.
• Experience in exterior maintenance on ships.
• Proficient in operating tender and rescue boats.
• Physically and medically fit.
• Coast Guard and Port State Control experience.
• Fluent English for safety and operations.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain exterior of the vessel in line with company policies and standards.
• Assist with preparing vessel for arrival and departure and for loading/unloading.
• Support Deck department as directed by Master, Staff Captain or Bosun.
• Participate in safety drills and enforce safety regulations on board.
• Maintain a clean, safe deck and ensure equipment is properly stowed.
• Carry out lifeboat and rescue gear maintenance and inspections.
• Perform duties as per training in tender, gangway and safety procedures.
