V.Group is looking for a Fitter for the Orient Express Sailing Yachts. This role involves mechanical maintenance, including engines and hydraulic systems. The successful candidate must have valid STCW 95 and ASE certifications and must be fluent in English.

This position operates on a 5-month on and 2-month off contract, demanding physical fitness and problem-solving skills. You will be part of a team ensuring the vessel's machinery is in optimal condition.

Qualifications

• Valid STCW 95 certification required.
• Good knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics essential.
• Experience with stripping engines down and rebuilding necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of engines.
• Assist with general maintenance including cleaning and repairs.
• Repairs and maintains hydraulic equipment and valves.
